my values

This is an area of my blog where you can learn more about me and what I stand for. I feel it is important to make a page about my values and faith because it is so important to me and occupies such a large part of my life.

I am a Christian. Jesus Christ is the foundation of my family and home. I revolve my life around Him and all He teaches. Above all else, I strive to keep my home a loving, safe and happy place for my family. I believe the family is the most important unit there is. I want my home to be a refuge for my children and a place they can always be themselves in. Matt and I try our best to be good role models for our children. We teach our kids about the Gospel and make it a part of our home and daily life. I want our children to know how special and loved they are and I want them to know their Heavenly Father.

I am a wife. Matt and I were married in the St. Paul, MN Temple and we believe we will be together forever. We also believe our children will be together with us forever. I always want to be a good wife to Matt and treat him with the respect he deserves. I know that if we follow the teachings of Christ and always make time for each other that we will continue to grow closer together and, in turn, be better parents for our children and remain a strong family.

I am a mother. I never feel like I am doing a good-enough job as a mother, but at the same time and I do the best that I can every day with my kids. I believe being a mother is a divine role. It is such a blessing to me and has brought me so much joy. It has helped me realize how much love my heart actually holds. I love having my daughter. I love having my son. I know it is my responsibility to teach them how to live and how to love. I want to be a heroine to my kids and I am going to strive every day to make that happen.
